Dakota Blue Richards

Dakota Blue Richards is an English actress best known for her portrayal of Lyra Belacqua in the movie "The Golden Compass" and Franky Fitzgerald as part of the third generation of actors in British teen drama 'Skins'. She's also an active performer on the stage. She has appeared in 'Arcadia and 'A Streetcar Named Desire" as well as many more. An London local, Richards grew up in Sussex. Richards took a couple of acting classes at the school, but she attended the bulk of her acting classes on weekends. In addition, she went to school only for auditions. Her first screen appearance as an actor was 'The Golden Compass. Richards' performance was praised by a lot of people, despite her film receiving a mixed response.
