Rebecca Romijn was a model before becoming an actress. She is most famous for her role as Mystique, the main character in the opening part of X-Men. Romijn was part of a Marvel filmcalled "The Punisher", in which she played Joan. After beginning her professional career as a model, Romijn has worked for major companies such as Christian Dior, Sports Illustrated, and Victoria's Secret. She spent more than 10 years as a model for big fashion houses. Later, she quit the modeling industry in order to pursue an acting career.
